Plasma Cutting

High definition plasma delivers a constant high precision quality cut on thickness from 1mm to 20mm thick. Plasma cutting process is a method based on melting the steel or other material; the material must be able to conduct electricity. Electricity is used to heat the material and the melt is blown out of the cut with the plasma gas jet.

This makes plasma cutting independent of the limitations of flame cutting, the method can therefore be used on steel and most metals.

The range of materials cut by Plasma is considerable; some are listed below, but it is not definite. Norwest will be pleased to discuss any particular requirement and obtain samples for test cutting.
