Milling & Turning

We offer CNC precision machining, milling and turning. As well a working to conventional drawings, we are able to work with DXF, IGES and PDF files, sent either by e-mail or supplied on disc. We work with a variety of materials including steel, aluminium, brass, copper, plastic, and exotics, such as titanium. Our strength is our experience of working with different materials in many diverse industries. We also carry out welding, fabrication and finishing in-house which enables us to offer a complete service to you, the customer.

Milling
We off CNC milling of all materials up to a working envelope of 1000mm in x, 510mm in y and 640mm in z.

4^th Axis CNC Milling
We offer fourth axis machining using a kitagawa rotary with a 250mm diameter chuck. This allows us to offer a far greater range of milling services including helixical contours around bars, undercuts, deeper pocketing and the ability to machine from solid complex components in a single setup.

The range of materials that can be used on our machines is considerable; some are listed below, but it is not definite. Norwest will be pleased to discuss any particular requirement and obtain samples for test use.
